André Cymone Concert Materials
BACKGROUND
The Capri Theater partnered with Resolute Creative to create program and promotional materials for a concert featuring Minneapolis-born musician, songwriter, and producer André Cymone, celebrating his music and upcoming funk album release. The project called for a visual style that captured the energy, personality, and groove of funk while building excitement around the performance.
STRATEGY
We leaned into the bold, expressive side of funk, using playful fonts, bold design elements and a vibrant visual direction to bring the materials to life. From the concert program, posters and supporting pieces, the goal was to create a look that felt energetic and distinctive, reflecting the spirit of André Cymone’s music.
RESULTS
The finished materials brought a cohesive, personality-filled look to the concert, carrying the funk-inspired creative direction across the event experience. As part of our ongoing partnership with The Capri Theater, the project was another opportunity to explore a unique visual style that celebrates the artists, music, and community at the heart of its programming.
